Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as both the All-Share and Main markets retreated 0.18% and 0.9%, respectively, while the Premier Market went up 0.13%.
Liquidating and fluctuating activity in Boursa Kuwait on Sunday had negative impact on some of the stocks which reflected on both the Main and All-Share markets, capital market analyst Saad Al Rumi told Mubasher.
The industrial sector topped five gainers with 0.81%, while the consumer goods segment led six decliners with 2.08%.
Kuwait Resorts was the top winner with a rise of 13.6%, while Ithmaar led the losers with 12.5%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 62.2% to KWD 16.75 million on Sunday from KWD 44.36 million in the previous session after the trading volume decreased by 32.1% to 122.57 million shares from 180.42 million.
Zain posted the highest liquidity of KWD 2.59 million, the stock retreated 0.89%.
PetroGulf was the most active stock on which 13.15 million shares were exchanged, the stock went up 0.94%.
